Dr. Yongjeong Kim
Dr. Kim is an associate professor in the Department of Prosthodontics and associate director of the Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (TUSDM). He has been a faculty member since 1997 and served as assistant professor in the Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics and the Advanced Education in Esthetic Dentistry Program from 2000 to 2007. Dr. Kim holds his D.D.S. degree from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea and his D.M.D. degree from TUSDM. He also earned both degree of Master of Science in Dental Science and Advanced Education certificate in Prosthodontics from TUSDM.
Dr. Kim received the “Faculty of the Year Award” presented by the Class of 2000 and received “Certificate of Appreciation for Valued Participation in the Educational program by Dean” at TUSDM. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a fellow of American College of Prosthodontists.
Dr. Kim has published numerous articles and given many presentations at national and international meetings. He has lectured many times both nationally and internationally in Prosthodontics, Dental Implants and Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Kim's research interest is in dental Implants, especially in the Biomechanics and CAD/CAM field.
